Positive Reviews
positive:
Great for Gangnam and beyond
Guests loved the location of this property, which put them in the heart of Seoul's Gangnam district. Renowned for its high-end retail outlets, this hotel was well-situated for those indulging in a spot of shopping during their visit to the city. In addition to being surrounded by a huge number of restaurants and cafés, many were pleased to find that this property is located down the street from Gangnam's eponymous subway station, which offers an interchange between two metro lines. This ensured guests convenient access to wider Seoul.
positive:
Spacious, well-equipped units
Most were very surprised by the overall size of their accommodation, which appears to be on the spacious side. If this was impressive, many more commented very positively on the well-equipped kitchens as well as the in-room washing machines.
positive:
Staff notice smaller details
If you need directions, suggestions or even just an umbrella, the staff at this hotel are happy to assist. This kind of attention didn't go unnoticed; indeed, it went a long way toward raising the property in the esteem of guests.
Negative Reviews
negative:
More attention needed to in-room cleaning
There were consistent reports here of rubbish from previous guests left under beds, dirty microwave and fridge exteriors and even dusty ledges. Many felt that more attention to cleaning was needed at this hotel.
negative:
Overly complicated controls
The lights and toilets in units are controlled by a handheld device. Guests who could not read Korean found this frustrating, with many struggling to adjust their lights and even flush their toilets.
negative:
Better in-room climate control
Along with lights and toilets, most guests also had difficulties controlling the temperatures in their rooms. Units themselves were either boiling hot or freezing cold, conditions that made for a less than comfortable stay.
