Terrific location near the gondolas
Guests traveling in all seasons, but especially winter travelers, loved being so close to the Gondolas. It meant that there was no long trek to get to the gondola’s, allowing them to get a bit of an edge on other skiers looking for that early morning lift to powder filled heaven.
positive:
Fresh cookies and coffee
A number of guests highlighted the fact that the hotel leaves out fresh cookies and coffee in the lobby. Guests passing by really appreciated this small gesture since it saved both the hassle and cost of having to get these from a coffee shop.

Great design and décor
Guests definitely liked the hotel’s décor and design, saying that it was very stylish and modern, and gave them the impression that they were staying in a very trendy hotel.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noise from club below
This was by far the most common, and most serious, complaint. The first floor of the building houses one of Whistler’s most popular clubs, Buffalo Bill’s. Guests in rooms near the club mentioned that they could easily hear the thumping music, while even those far away said it could be disturbing.
negative:
Only valet parking available
A number of motorists were unhappy with the parking situation at the hotel. They reported hat the hotel will not allow guests to park their own cars, so requiring them to use the valet service. Some found this not only awkward, since their cars were less available to them during their stay, but of course this also cost them extra.
negative:
Hot tub too small
Quite a number of guests were disappointed with the size of the hot tub. They felt that it was much too small for the size of the hotel and this resulted in them often being unable to use it.
