This is a ski area for the advanced/expert/adventurer skier only. Shallowest pitch is 35%. Average snowfall is 400 inches. Avalanche beacons, shovels and probes are required to use the lift (there is only one) or to get rental equipment. This equipment is available for rent as well as the skiing equipment. Currently the area is open Thursday to Sunday. The area is 1819 acres and has the most expert terrain of any area in North America. Normal ski season runs November to May.
