Positive Reviews
positive:
Great location
The location is the hotel's
greatest asset, in many ways. Because the hotel is well connected by public
transport and within walking distance of many of the great tourist sites of the
city, staying here is a wonderful advantage, especially for those who have
travelled here to get to know the city. The Hippodrome and the Hagia Sophia
Museum are both less than two miles away. This area is a great shopping
district with great clothes shops.
positive:
Friendly staff
Many of the guests have found the staff members to be professional, friendly and helpful. The front desk staff, in particular, have given great guidance regarding where to go, what to do and what to see in this city.
positive:
Clean rooms, great facilities
The rooms, apart from being compact, have an airy, spacious feel, due to the balconies and full length mirror. They are cleaned daily and the towels and toiletries are also replaced, which keeps the guests feeling well looked after. The facilities of the hotel are much appreciated, particularly the pool.
Negative Reviews
negative:
More breakfast selection required
Although many guests have praised the breakfast, there are some who say that more selection is required. Some guests have mentioned that more fruit is required along with the other breakfast choices and many guests would like the option of choosing green tea too.
negative:
Noisy at night
Although the city centre location
makes this hotel popular, it also means that it can be rather noisy at night.
Unfortunately the noise from the streets finds its way into the hotel, making
it difficult for guests to sleep at night, particularly those who are sensitive
to noise.
negative:
Refurbishment needed
It has been mentioned that the hotel is in need of a fresh look and that some of the fixtures and fittings need replacing.
