A stylish three-star boutique hotel with 64 rooms, Xi Hotel is situated in Tshim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. It is a ten-minute walk from the K11 Shopping Mall. Rooms are equipped with air conditioner, television with digital channels, iPod docking station and work desk. Refrigerator, minibar, in-room safe and free bottles of water are some of the other amenities. Bathrooms are provided with free toiletries and hair dryer. Iron/ironing board is available on request. Wi-Fi is complimentary but private parking is not available. 24-hour front desk, tour/ticket service, luggage storage, concierge, laundry and dry cleaning are some of the services that can be availed by the guests. A garden and terrace are also present. Breakfast is available on a surcharge. Many local eateries and bars are located close by. Xi Hotel is a 40-minute drive from the Hong Kong International Airport and a ten-minute walk from the Star Ferry Pier.
Even though the breakfast is not complimentary, guests were quite happy with it as the spread was adequate to kick start the day. The continental breakfast included breads, cereals, fresh fruits, sausage, yoghurt, bacon and much more. All the food items were of high quality and cooked well.
The hotel is centrally located and very convenient for all the guests. The Kowloon Waterfront and MTR are at a walking distance from the hotel. Guests loved shopping in the top brand shopping outlets like Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Gucci to name a few. It is close to Nathan road, which has many restaurants and bars that can be explored by the guests.
Guests loved that they were provided with a free smartphone with Internet connection during their stay. This helped them navigate to places they wanted to visit, as well as search for information they needed about the city.
The décor and overall look of the rooms is very outdated and needs some renovation. Guests complained of unpleasant odours in some rooms.
Most of the guests were disappointed to know that there is no private parking space available due to which they had to park their cars on the side roads.
Guests could hear the noise from the lobby in their rooms. They were woken up early in the mornings by the commotion of the workers.
