positive:
Perfect location for sightseeing and leisure
Washingborough Hall is an ideal base for activities, shopping, or just a scenic and relaxing getaway. Whether you're an experienced golfer, taking a beginner's lesson at the nearby Park Riding School, or seeing where a map leads you, there's no shortage of things to do.
positive:
Great venue for weddings and parties
Staff put tremendous effort into making sure everything is as perfect as possible for weddings, meetings, or whatever is hosted at the bed and breakfast. Events receive full attention from everyone, and all details, from décor to dining, are adjusted accordingly.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Occasional lack of attention for regular guests
Unfortunately, if you stay while an event is going on and you're not one of the attendees, you may experience some difficulty receiving prompt attention. Staff at times have trouble juggling attention between all guests, with the lesser customer service occurring towards those at the hotel for a standard stay.
negative:
Meals are disappointing, despite high praise
Although the restaurant is highly touted and has received several accolades, many find their expectations lowered. Prices are considered too high, dishes too ordinary, and portions not generous enough.
negative:
Grade-II means some limitations
There are some things that cannot be done, given the hotel's age and historical status. Stairs are steep and perhaps troubling for some, but a lift cannot be put in. Another fireplace cannot be added, so there's only one. These are minor grievances that need to be reconsidered before letting it dampen your stay.
