Positive Reviews
positive:
Good for major event venues
This motel was especially popular with guests in town for sporting events and concerts. Given its proximity to the I-75/I-375 interchange, it put new arrivals in close proximity to a number of local venues, including the Masonic Temple Theater, Fox Theater, Ford Field, the Detroit Opera House and Comerica Park.
positive:
A customer service turnaround
Judging by recent guests reviews, the rude and unfriendly service that once seemed to be the norm at this property is no longer an issue. There appears to have been a considerable service turnaround here over the last few years and guests were pleased to be greeted promptly and cordially by this motel's friendly front desk team.
positive:
Value for money
This motel was a popular stop for those looking for simple, no-frills accommodation in the Detroit area. Many just after a basic bed felt that this property represented excellent value for money, especially given the access that it offered to nearby entertainment venues as well as the downtown area.

Bed bugs and vermin reported
To the horror of guests, there were consistent reports of bed bugs, roaches and mice at this property. Many reported spotting droppings in their wardrobe units.
negative:
Questionable surrounds, broken doors
Many felt that the neighbourhood in which this property is situated is rather down-at-heel. This gave the motel a seedy, even unsafe ambience. This was exacerbated by broken doors, a problem that appeared to be widespread at this property.
negative:
Stained sheets and walls
Stained and dirty sheets appear to be commonplace at this motel, as are dirty walls and tubs.
