Negative Reviews
negative:
Expensive for what you get
Several guests felt that the hotel is too highly priced for the services and amenities provided. Air conditioning is not available which can be uncomfortable in the warmer months as the rooms get hot and stuffy. Electric fans are provided, thought they can be noisy and ineffective. There is also no lift service and assistance with carrying luggage is not guaranteed. Cleanliness issues were also reported as walls and surfaces were dirty at times. The breakfast offered is not always of questionable quality.
negative:
Tiny rooms
Some of the rooms are too small for comfort. Guests reported that storage space for clothing is minimal and floor space limited, making it inconvenient to unpack suitcases or keep them open on the floor.
negative:
Noisy hotel
Guests reported being disturbed by a variety of noises at the hotel. The sound of neighboring guests talking and walking across the wooden floorboards can be heard, as well as carrying luggage in corridors as there is no lift service. This is particularly disturbing in the evenings. Depending on the room booked, the sound of traffic can also be loud.
