Varscona Hotel on Whyte (Edmonton, Canada)

Not only is the property located in one of the most interesting parts of Edmonton, it is also surrounded with various restaurants and music venues which the previous guests appreciated. In addition, the hotel is also conveniently located near the University and on trendy Whyte Avenue.

The room was generously sized, and still wasn't cramped enough for most of the guests. Each room is good and new, with high-quality furnishings and appliance such as a working desk, coffee maker, and well-functioning TV set.

Receptionists are very helpful any time of the day. Guests speak well about their excellent, professional service. Moreover, guests are always assured that they would be assisted if they are going to have any problem or concern during their stay.

Parking here was not as stress-free as many of the previous guests have wished. Many guests have experienced parking their cars on wrong positions or on public spaces because the space is too compact, and that most of them weren't informed about the hotel's valet parking service.

A number of previous guests noted that the air-conditioning system in their rooms was malfunctioning. This problem resulted in making the rooms too hot and humid. Upon their complaint, the management explained that they are on the process of improving the hotel's AC system.

Many of the guests complained about the food chain construction of an establishment beside the hotel, stating that they were unable to sleep because of the noise that it made. Guests also took note that street noise from the busy street in front can also be heard.
