The Townhouse Hotel (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

Right near all of the attractions, you won’t have to go very far to get to everything you need. Town House is located right on the canal on one of Amsterdam’s busiest streets.

If you have to check out for the day, but you want to explore the area for the day, hotel staff will happily look after your belongings. Consequently, you can go out and about for a fun-filled day of sightseeing.

The rooms are generously-sized, with comfortable furnishings and surroundings. The décor is a replica of the outside canal, with the theme and atmosphere flowing throughout the hotel.

When you come to check in or go to check out, you will have to go to a hotel on the other side of the canal. Checking-in/-out services are done in one location while the actual hotel is in another.

There’s no elevator in this hotel, so you will have to take the stairs. Moreover, the stairs are very steep – it can be dangerous trying to tote your luggage up and down them without much help.

While there is free Wi-Fi available for you to use, the signal can be a little unstable. This means it may drop out every once in a while when you’re trying to use it.
