Unlike other hotels, The Reefs is located right on the beach making it super convenient to the sand and surf. Guests don’t have to take a shuttle to another location; they just get up and go to the private beach, or head to the oceanfront Coconuts restaurant to enjoy stunning views without the crowds.

The people who work at this hotel are highly attentive and accommodating. Guests regularly notice the warmth and hospitality of the staff, known for going out of their way to help guests get around the island. From the front desk to the bellmen, everyone seems to be always willing to assist.

Sunday brunch at The Reefs is quite a hit for hotel guests and locals alike. Peole rave about the huge selection from traditional breakfast faves like Eggs Benedict and omelets to pasta, salad and fresh seafood, as well as fresh fruit and a bunch of desserts. Guests gripe that the hotel’s advertised king beds are actually two twin beds pushed together. The awkward configuration makes it very uncomfortable and difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

Given the location of the hotel on a high cliff, there are lots of stairs for guests to take especially if they want to go to the private beach and the oceanfront restaurant Coconuts. People with physical limitations might find going back and forth challenging.

Depressing is how the gym at the hotel has been described, primarily because it is so small. So guests expecting a whole bunch of exercise equipment and space might want to lower their expectations.
