The Prominence Hotel and Suites (Lake Forest, USA)

Along with the usual buffet, the breakfast includes cooked-to-order omelette stations that serve fresh and well-cooked eggs. Buffet spread includes everything from breads, fruits, hams, bacons, waffles and pancakes to all the dairy products. The sumptuous breakfast charged up the guests for the entire day.

There is sufficient parking space and guests could park their cars without much inconvenience. Parking lot has a Subway and Starbucks outlet too where the guests can relax and grab a bite. If the front parking space gets filled, there is a parking lot behind the hotel too.

Rooms and suites looked relatively new. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were also clean. In fact, the entire property is quite well-maintained as compared to many other hotels. Staff members are very helpful and go out of their way to lend a helping hand at any hour of the day.

The elevator was very noisy and seemed to take forever to reach the floors, even though the hotel is only three-storied. Guests felt that using the stairs was a better option rather than waiting for the elevator.

Having a loud air conditioner in the rooms was found to be a big no-no for most of the guests. It was so loud that they had difficulty in falling asleep.

Wi-Fi connection was very slow and confusing. Guests could not connect as many devices as they wanted. It required typing the password every time the device was turned on.
