About The Nightingale Hotel
The building was originated as a private guest house, known as Blenheim, in the late 1800s by members of the Court of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. It was converted soon after this period and was called The Blenheim Guest House. The Nightingale is named after “Ode to the Nightingale” written by English poet John Keats (1795-1821) who is said to have found inspiration in Shanklin. Today, The Nightingale Hotel Bar & Restaurant is one of the best three star hotels in Shanklin situated on the top of the cliff with spectacular unobstracted sea view. Open to all!
