Positive Reviews
positive:
The beachside location is wonderful.
One of the hotel's best features is it position right on the Gulf of Mexico. You can enjoy the beach and adjacent pool area, stroll around the manicured grounds, or take in the spectacular sunset. The many attractions of Naples are only a short taxi ride away.
positive:
Guest rooms are comfortably appointed.
You will find the rooms clean and spacious, and nicely decorated in fresh colors with plantation shutters and interesting fabrics. Many guests mentioned the large, comfy beds, luxurious bedding and little touches like robes, toiletries and chocolates.
positive:
Service is friendly and attentive.
While good service is to be expected at any upscale hotel, many guests remarked that staff here try extra hard to offer personalized service. Your requests are fulfilled quickly and nothing is too much trouble, whether at the front desk, in the bars and restaurants, or in housekeeping.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Spa and restaurants are expensive.
While guests had overwhelmingly positive opinions of the hotel, the negative remarks they made were mostly about pricing. For example, the food outlets and the spa are all highly rated, but you might find the prices on the high side.
negative:
You will be charged for Wi-Fi.
You might be surprised to find that Wi-Fi access has a cost per 24 hour period, and that each connection only covers one device. Many reviewers were unhappy with this policy, especially given that the poor cell phone reception here means that their own data subscriptions don't work on the property.
negative:
Beach chairs high cost per day.
The beach is one of the main attractions of the Naples Beach and Golf Club, but you do need to pay a daily rental fee for each beach chair, and another fee if you want an umbrella. These charges don't apply to the pool area, however.
