Guests complained about having to walk to the main building of the hotel from their rooms which were situated in a series of cottages about 5 minutes away. Many objected to the walk to reception especially during bad weather when they had to carry umbrell

During the warmer summer months, guests complained about their rooms feeling too hot and stuffy due to a lack of air conditioning. Some tackled the heat by opening windows whilst others used the fans provided.

Some of the guests complained about the state of the showers which they described as dated and very basic. Whilst some experienced problems with the temperature, others objected to the very weak water pressure.
