The French Quarter Courtyard Hotel and Suites (New Orleans, USA)

The hotel is situated a few blocks away from the popular Bourbon Street with all its shops, bars and restaurants but still far enough from the hustle and bustle meaning that guests could enjoy calm and peaceful evenings. Many who came here to explore the sights said that they did not have to use their cars or public transport as everything was within walking distance.

Guests were very complimentary about the level of service they received at the hotel, describing the staff as friendly and always eager to help. The front-desk staff greeted guests with a smile making them feel welcome and offered helpful tips and advice about the local area.

The rooms have been described as being of decent size with plenty of space for guests to move around and also stow away all their belongings. The level of cleanliness was also appreciated by many as the suites were said to be clean and well-presented with equally hygienic and modern bathrooms.

Guests who stayed in the rooms overlooking the internal courtyard said that their rooms were dark due to the lack of natural light coming in through the windows. If you prefer plenty of light, ask for a room facing the street.

The amenities in the rooms have been described as quite basic with guests objecting to the lack of fridges, safes and microwaves. If you are expecting to have all the mod-cons in your room you might well be disappointed.

The on-site bistro was said to be open only at specific times during the day which inconvenienced some guests who had to leave the hotel and look for alternative places to eat.
