Beautiful views across the beach of the sea.

Large, comfortable rooms.
Rooms are reportedly large, especially by British standards, and rooms seem to be comfortable. On the whole, beds are described as comfortable and rooms seem to be largely well presented.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Decor looking a little tired in places.
A few guests suggest that decor throughout the hotel but particularly in rooms could do with being updated. Guests do, on the whole, acknowledge that there are often issues with older, Victorian buildings, but that rooms could easily be brought up to date
negative:
Showers over the baths, not free-standing.
A number of guests complain that showers in the bathrooms are over the bath, not free-standing shower units. Guests comment that, particularly in Executive and Superior rooms, showers should be free-standing.
negative:
Limited and intermittent Wi-Fi in rooms.
A couple of reviews comment that Wi-Fi in bedrooms in intermittent and difficult to connect to. However, the hotel website does specify that Wi-Fi is available in public areas of the hotel.
