    About The Elysian Boutique Villa Hotel

    The Elysian is an intimate collection of private villas with a secluded island ambiance, near the heart of trendy Seminyak in Bali. The 27 villas come with private walled gardens and pools and are designed to blend modern and traditional Balinese styles. Using local materials such as teak, volcano stone and marble, they come equipped with large timber sun-decks and mod-cons such as iPod and iPads (on request). Each has free Wi-Fi and a safe. The Elysian also offers a large 25 metre pool running the length of a terrace, adorned with a waterfall and Balinese temple. Guests can book in a massage, yoga or meditation session or make use of free bicycle hire. The onsite à la carte restaurant serves international dishes, whilst the poolside café offers snacks and drinks. The beach is just 200 metres away with the famous Ku De Ta beach club just a short stroll away.

    Attentive staff

    Guests are pretty much in agreement that it is the staff who really make your stay. Always wearing a smile on their faces, they are attentive and courteous and do all they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

    Beautifully designed complex

    Guests love the cosy and intimate feel of this complex and the secluded feel of the villas. The layout of the place is great - with the lovely large shared pool as well as your own private pool. The place is impeccably clean and well maintained too.

    The breakfasts go down a real treat with guests here. They are tasty and wholesome and there is a wide selection to choose from.

    Difficult access

    Whilst you are not that far from the centre of Seminyak and the beach, that is not to say it is easy to get around. The complex is located at the end of a dangerous narrow lane and you have to walk along a busy main road, (literally as there is no pavement) to get to the shops and restaurants. There is no direct access to the beach either and you have a fair bit of a trek to get there. Lots of guests feel that you are compelled to hire a scooter to get around.

    In the shade

    If you are a bit of a sun-worshiper, you may be disappointed that your exposure to it is limited. The design of the complex and the overgrown trees mean that you may find you are in the shade more often than you may have anticipated. Guests comment that the pools can be quite cool as a consequence.

    Guests sometimes feel that the rooms, the complex as a whole and even the towels are looking ever-so-slightly tired.
