If you like golf, then you'll love this place as it is right by the local golf club. There are also some great little pubs nearby and The Kinema in the Woods provides something fun to do in the evening. A truly enchanting little area.
The food served in both the restaurant and the bar is exceptional with many guests quite impressed by the variety of items on offer. The breakfast is also said to be excellent and more than filling enough to start a day of golfing or exploring.
Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the people that work here. They are friendly and professional and are more than willing to help out with directions to the local hotspots or even recommendations for things to do and places to go.
This is a lovely old building, but some of the rooms and public areas are in need of some TLC. They are starting to show signs of wear and tear, and this makes some guests feel like the rates are a little too high.
