Marriott Downtown Atlanta has earned a prestige reputation as the one of the best hotel's for business travelers in downtown Atlanta. Centrally located adjacent to the interstate and within a short ride from the airport, the hotel features a state-of-the-art business center with Internet connections, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a diverse array of elegant conference, banquet, function and event rooms for every sized group and every occasion.

Guests comment that from the front desk, to the restaurant and bar, as well as the housekeeping staff are very attentive. Guest report the service in all areas is flawless.

Returning guests comment that the stay at the Marriott in downtown Atlanta every time they come to the city, noting that they location is perfect and they know they can count on a clean and comfortable room, fabulous food and fine service.

With over 1600 rooms, the hotel is a busy place. All services are fast and efficient with expedited check-in, and fast service in the restaurant. However, some guests report that the hotel is just to big and busy to have a personal touch and that the service, though highly polished is detached and impersonal with guests feeling like nothing more than a chancing face attached to a room number.

Although the hotel guest rooms have excellent soundproofing from normal noise and outside traffic, the hotel is presently undergoing extensive remodeling. The crews start early. Several guest have complained that the clamorous noise of drills, skill saws, and jackhammers disturbed a chance to sleep in while on holiday and that they felt they should have been advised of the potential for construction noise when they booked their reservation.
