Thatched Cottage is a 3 star hotel situated in the heart of the New Forest National Park at Brockenhurst. It has more than 400 years of history and is the oldest operational cottage in the area. There are five double rooms in the Thatched Cottage and several more new garden rooms. All rooms are cozy, individually decorated with antiques and objects of art. In every room there are soft towel, coffee maker and fireplace. There is also TV set with free cable channels. Every morning, between 8 and 11 am, a breakfast is served. You can choose between the six sample menus and order a breakfast according to your taste. The hotel has intimate, cozy wine bar where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings and if you’d like to order cheese fondue made by local cheese. The fact that Thatched Cottage is situated in the New Forest National Park offers a lot of entertainments. You can go for a walk in the park, hire a cycle or ride a horse. The cottage is close to Hurst Castle, Bournemouth beach and Beaulieu Motor Museum.
