The hotel grounds have been described as an oasis of peace and tranquility with many guests stating that they enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard with a few drinks or having a soak in one of the spa-tubs.

Some of the guests whose rooms were located at the front of the building mentioned that they were able to hear traffic noise as the hotel overlooks a road. If you are a light sleeper it's advisable to ask for a room at the back of the building.

Those who did not want to dine at the hotel restaurant were disappointed to find very few bars and cafes in close proximity to the hotel. Apart from a few local shops guests said that there were hardly any other amenities close by.

There is no lift on the premises and some guests who stayed on the first floor found it a bit tiring climbing the stairs several times a day.
