Positive Reviews
positive:
Professional friendly staff.
One of the absolute highlights of the Vivanta by Taj Holiday Village is the professionalism and friendly attitude that is displayed by all staff members. From well-spoken and highly informed front desk staff right down to security staff who regularly patrol the grounds and beach entrance, every effort is made to ensure that all guests feel welcome and secure.
positive:
Well-maintained accommodation.
The holiday resort offers a choice of villas or quaint cottages, all individually decorated in a traditional and authentic Portuguese style. Every room is well-maintained and clean and everything works the way it should. Another highlight is the resorts well-maintained and perfectly manicured lawn and gardens which really helps to give a sense of tropical luxury.
positive:
Fabulous dining and pampering.
Vivanta by Taj shares all facilities and amenities with its sister hotel Fort Aguada. This means that guests can enjoy a much wider variety of dining and luxury services, all included in the room rate. A particular highlight has to be the 120 minute spa pamper session for couples and poolside snacks and cocktails.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Frustrating and annoying Wi-Fi service.
The lack of a decent and consistent Wi-Fi signal as well as a policy that limits connectivity to one device per guest can lead to frustration, something that should not be an issue at a luxury resort.
negative:
Noise issues can be distracting.
The pool area can sometimes become loud when large groups are using the pool and poolside bar which is often accompanied by loud music. If noise is a concern it is advisable to book rooms that are well-away from the pool area.
negative:
Limited facilities for smokers.
A frequent complaint among smokers staying at the resort is that none of the restaurants feature a smoking section and smokers are required to go outside.
