Sørmarka Summer 2018 RECEPTION Our main reception is located in the Hotel building and it is open from 06.30 AM to 10 PM. From 10 PM to 06.30 AM the reception in the hotel is open or night shift is available by dialing 9 on your room telephone. CHECK IN Hotel rooms are available for check in from 3 pm. CHECKOUT Check out time on departure date is 11 AM. Late departure will be charged kr 500, or new daily rate. LUGGAGE STORAGE is available by the reception in the conference building. RESTAURANT BJØRK Breakfast 07 – 10 Lunch 12 - 14 à la carte 15 –22 Gran bar is closed in the summer but beverages can be purchased in the restaurant. Wine and beer are available at the reception in opening hours. WI Fi Wi fi is available throughout the hotel. FIRE INSTUCTIONS Fire instructions are posted on inside of your hotel room door. Please fa- miliarize yourself with the evacuation plan and the nearest emergency exit. When the alarm is activated please evacuate the building. Use stairs and never the elevator, assembly point is at the main flagpole between the hotel and conference building. ACTIVITIES AT SØRMARKA BATHING PIER From here one can dive and take a swim. There is a bathing ladder for easy access. Syverud lake is not very deep and do`s not have a strong current, so the temperature is quiet pleasant early in the summer season. The lake has sun from early morning to late evening. CANOEING All our guests can borrow canoes depending upon availability. You can borrow free of charge paddles and life vest from the reception. There are many lovely places around the lake shore. A paddle tour around the lake is about 2.5 km. BEACH VOLLEYBALL On the lawn above the beach there is a beach volley- ball court. This can be used anytime and balls can be borrowed from reception. FOOTBALL We have a playing field for football just below the par- king area. This is equipped with training goals, just ideal for family football. Balls are available in reception. FOOTBALL GOLF Football golf combines two sports, football and golf. No special skills are required. It’s fun and suitable for everyone, young as old. As a guest of the hotel you play for free. Contact the reception for details. PENTANQUE On the lawn bellow the terrace is a Pentanque pitch. All you need for this game, you can get in the reception. ACTIVITIES AT SØRMARKA CHILDREN’S GAMES ROOM In Skogsstue there are toys, games, cartoons and books for children. TV with children’s TV programs is available. FITNESS ROOM The fitness room is on the lower floor of the hotel building. Here you will also find a sauna and solarium. The age limit for using the training equipment is 16 years. HIKING TRAILS Around the Syverudtjernet (lake) there is a beautiful hiking trail. If you have an hour free, we recommend this trip. On the west side of the lake there is a resting area with log benches on the shore. Here you can really relax and enjoy the surroundings. Around the lake, there are vantage points and bathing areas. The trip is about 3.5 km and takes an hour. GAPAHUK - Summer is BBQ season As a hotel guest, you can use our barbecue place at Gapahuken (forest shelter) from 30 June to 6 August. Disposable Tableware, plates and grill tongs are available from the reception. Beverages must be purchased in the restaurant or reception. In the Gapahuken there some heat lamps and lights at night to create cozy atmosphere at the edge of the forest. UTSIKTEN TERASSE - LAKE TERRACE Enjoy the long summer evenings on our terrace. We turn the lights and heat on in the evening to create some atmosphere. Summer is short but the evenings are long. There is opportunity to buy refreshments in the lobby. Only beverages purchased on the premises can be enjoyed on our terrace.
