Meets basic requirements.
The hotel doesn't pretend to be luxurious - and it isn't! But, whilst basic, it does 'what it says on the tin' and provides cheap accommodation, plus a few freebies that you might be charged for at more expensive places.

The car parking element and the hotel itself, feel safe. The surrounding area doesn't encourage night time expeditions on foot. Another good thing is that restaurants such as Best of India, Thai/Peruvian and Subway, are 200 yards away.
With 'budget' as the keyword, they've made every effort to give an apartment feel to rooms. There are no frills-but you aren't paying for them-and beds are comfortable; not always the case in higher priced hotels.
Dirty, dark, stained carpets and with some iffy strangers; that's the story here. They say that 'you get what you pay for' but, actually, this place isn't overly cheap-just expensive and tatty! There's no elevator; something which only adds to the increasing frustration.
The 'service' is unreliable and involves lengthy waits for it to turn up. When it does arrive, it's a tacky old 'van'. A van!
Following a very bracing cold shower because there's no hot water, prepare for another revelation at 'breakfast'! Crockery and cutlery is in very short supply but, not really necessary anyway, as all breakfast consists of is a limited choice of cereals and a waffle maker. Then, it's time to climb into the 'shuttle' van!
