Super Hotel Namba Nipponbashi (Osaka, Japan)

Guests rated the location of this property is excellently because it is just opposite Koromon market and walking distance to Namba, Dotonbori, and Shinsaibashi shopping streets. Nipponbashi subway station is also near. Moreover, there is a convenience store beside the hotel so it is very convenient to buy anything even at night.

The buffet breakfast here is served with plenty of delicious yet healthy food choices which guests loved. There is a good selection of western and Japanese food to choose from. Aside from being included in the room rates, breakfast here is very helpful to fill guests' stomach in the morning.

Most positive feedback from previous guests are about the comfortable beds and pillows. Beds are comfortable futon-style beds with “soba-gara” pillows. The “soba-gara” pillows can be replaced with European style pillows with different firmness depending on what the guests like at the reception area.

Rooms are very tight and may not suit those who are claustrophobic according to guests. The space in the room is just enough for two persons, and there is not much space for luggage and lacks floor space.

Most staff cannot speak English or has very limited English which made it difficult for guests to ask for assistance with regards to their requests. They would refer guests first to the ones who were capable of conversing in English.

Guests expressed that the property lacks lifts as there is only one lift serving this ten-floor building. Guests have to normally wait before they can go up or down particularly during peak season when the hotel has full occupancy.
