A lovely rural venue. This spot is highly recommended for their outstanding event planning, staffing and decorating. If you've got a wedding, conference, holiday party, team-building weekend or other occasion to coordinate, give this space some consideration. The grounds are well-maintained and the historic features make it homey and character-filled. Traditionally decorated with window views overlooking the greenery, this English country house serves up delicious food, beautifully-presented both for events and regular guests. Outdoor events have plenty of space for nearly any type of activities. There's a spacious, well-lit dance floor, and the scenery makes a picturesque backdrop for special photos. Breakfast is freshly-made and served buffet-style daily, while all meals are tasty and desserts are excellent.

You'll find this team handles all situations with well-trained finesse and courtesy. Nothing is too much trouble and they'll ease your anxieties with their expertise during important events and otherwise. Let them know if children will be present for an event and they'll arrange games and/or outdoor activities.

Some may find the alcoholic drinks to be on the expensive side, although the wines seem slightly more affordable. Others might question the overall value of on-site event tickets coupled with meals and an overnight. Soundproofing is not the best in some rooms and showers occasionally have uncomfortable temperature fluctuations.

Don't get dropped off here unless you really enjoy walking or cycling in the country; most area attractions require a vehicle to comfortably reach.
