Stourport Manor Hotel (Stourport-on-Severn, United Kingdom)

The hotel is set within 25 acres of private grounds which include manicured gardens with a pleasant seating area. Guests enjoyed having their drinks on the lawn as well as the picturesque views from their guest rooms.

Guests who used the leisure facilities said that they were well-presented especially the indoor- pool which was said to be very clean and of decent size. Many enjoyed using the Jacuzzi, steam rooms as well as the on-site gym. The changing rooms were also said to be clean with secure lockers for guests to safely stow away their belongings.

The staff at the hotel have been described as friendly and more than willing to assist guests with their various queries and requests. Reception personnel greeted arriving guests and made them feel welcome whilst those who celebrated special events at the hotel said that they received a very satisfactory level of service.

Many of the guests described the overall decor of their rooms as rather tired and dated. The furniture and upholstery were said to be quite tatty and old-fashioned whilst the bathrooms were quite basic featuring dated suites and poor showers.

The showers in many of the en-suites have been described as very old fashioned and difficult to operate. Guests objected to not being able to set the appropriate temperature and the flow of water was described as a trickle due to low pressure.

Guests complained about having to go and look for the bar staff when they wanted to order drinks as the bar was often unmanned. Many also complained about having to wait longer than expected in order to receive their orders.
