Comfortable, still "brand new" rooms...
The newly opened hotel receives many compliments on the modern yet "homey" look and feel of its guest rooms. Families and extended stay guests love the one-bedroom and two-bedroom suite layout, with televisions in the separate bedrooms and living areas, as well as the nicely equipped kitchenette area. The grounds are also generally considered attractive, too, particularly the patio and gas grill area.
positive:
Lots of bang for your buck...
Guests are quick to list the many "free" amenities at the hotel, including a substantial breakfast and a light dinner with beer and wine early in the week. The complimentary laundry machines are also much appreciated. Guests in town for the Mayo Clinic are grateful for a discount on their stay, and note that the price compares favourably with hotels in the downtown area.
positive:
A ride into town...
Many guests like the hotel's location just outside the city for the easy access to several freeways and businesses. There's also a scheduled shuttle to the Mayo Clinic for guests who want to skip the hassle and expense of parking.

DIY Housekeeping...
Similar to many extended stay hotels, housekeeping is scheduled to "deep clean" between guests or every seven days, with "light" services (bed making, towels freshened, etc) every day. Some like this concept, others hate it, and still others find the "deep cleaning" to be insufficient.

It takes all kinds...
Reviews of the staff are very mixed, ranging from very good to inexperienced or even unpleasant. Customer service may even out once the hotel is less "new."

A big splash...
Guests generally enjoy the pool area, though some wish it were open later, and there is some room for improvement in its overall cleanliness, despite its being brand new.
