Splendid Resort (Pula, Croatia)

The area has majestic views of the coastline and beautiful hills. You can ride a bike hugging the coast to get to Pula, although the path is hilly. Once you get to Pula, the city has bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel is also close to several national parks and you get a nice view from the balcony.

The apartment is expansive and much bigger the standard hotel rooms. The size of the units makes the residence ideal for families and groups, since the units come with their own bathroom, living room and an equipped kitchenette.

Guests liked lounging by the poolside that overlooks the sea. They said that the pool area, while busy, had nice sun beds and a good supply of food and drinks at the bar.

The hotel seems a bit stingy about toilet paper, guests noted. Some guests said that the hotel didn't give them any toilet paper, while others said they were given a supply, but just not enough. Be prepared to make a run to your local store to grab extras.

The room can get hot and stuffy in the summers, but guests reported that they had to pay extra to get air conditioning, which they thought should already be included in the price of the room.

Although the hotel provides kitchenettes, guests didn't have much to cook with, because they said the resort supermarket had very little food in stock. They said it was better to go to a better supermarket located about one kilometer away.
