Positive Reviews
positive:
The experience is delightful.
This hotel is more of a resort and guests will notice that difference right away. Some rooms offer incredible views of the beach and ocean with private balconies. Be prepared to get spoiled by the staff with room service, personal touches, and entertainment and activities planned all day long.
positive:
A peaceful holiday.
Guests who are wanting to get away from the daily grind picked the right place. The palm tree-lined pool has sun bathing that is a picture and feel straight from paradise. The spa service finishes up with that peaceful mood. However, guests who relax by golf or other sport activity won't be disappointed, either.
positive:
A five-star deserving of the rating.
The quality of the resort is exceptional and deserves the five-star rating. The food quality is outstanding and guests can choose from oriental, Japanese, traditional Mauritius, and a host of other offerings at the many restaurants. From the service to the amenities, this resort has all the bases covered for luxury.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Understaffed during busy times.
The resort often gets very busy, either with regular seasonal bookings or because of business conference or wedding events. When this happens, the resort is understaffed and that leads to poor service, especially at the restaurant and pool bars.
negative:
Choose the food offering carefully.
There are different pension, or all-inclusive, food offerings at the resort. Guests report that the full pension is not worth the extra money as the other offerings will fully cover your needs. However, the menu isn't very extensive and some buffet entrees are just average.
negative:
Some rooms not as luxurious.
The standard rooms are not as luxurious as the suites and villas. These rooms have older furnishings and dated décor. Plus, the WiFi here can be a problem.
