Sinar Bali Hotel (Legian, Indonesia)

This hotel enjoys a top location in Legian, surrounded by lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. However, the best thing about this place has to be that you can easily walk to the beach in under five minutes.

You'll genuinely feel like a valued guest while staying at this place, especially when you arrive and you're welcomed in by a beaming Balinese smile. All your needs, no matter how big or small, will be taken care of for you.

This traditional hotel is a particularly peaceful place to kick back and relax, with lush tropical gardens and artful Balinese decor. If you want to just unwind and daydream you can't go wrong here.

Staying connected to the internet is a pain at this hotel. The Wi-Fi sporadically drops out, the signal is patchy, and the speed is poor. The signal doesn't even reach into all of the rooms, so you might have to sit down by the pool to access it.

You could find that the rooms here are just a bit too small, so if you're bringing bags and bags of luggage on your visit to Bali look elsewhere. For one person they could be bearable, but if sharing you could feel too cramped.

This hotel has been around for quite some years already and it's not being maintained very well. Some of the furniture appears dated and shabby, while the awful smells that come up from the drains are enough to send you running.
