Sheraton Richmond Airport Hotel (Sandston, USA)

The hotel is only half a mile from the airport and the hotels' free shuttle service rated highly amongst previous guests who mentioned that it was a quick and efficient service staffed by super helpful drivers.

Visitors to the hotel were very pleased with both the service and friendly attitudes of the bar staff.  A number of beer aficionados also mentioned the excellent selection of micro-brews that were also on tap at the bar.

A number of travelers singled out the hotels' Friday night Jazz night as a highlight of the hotels' entertainment program with some commenting that it was a welcome break from traveling to mix with locals on this popular night out.

Guests who like modern appliance were seemingly a little disappointed at the age of the televisions in the rooms, with some guests commenting that they were very old and outdated giving the room an older feel. Guests suggested modern TVs need to be installed to keep up with the times.

Guests were a little disappointed at the disruption to their much needed peaceful nights sleep as the sound between rooms kept them up. For the price paid guests felt that the hotel management could invest in a little more sound-proofing to ensure guests have a disruption free stay.

Previous guests to the hotel thought that the rooms were showing very obvious signs of wear and tear and were in quite a shabby state. Many guests suggested that updating the decor and furniture would bring the hotel into line with others across the Doubletree chain.
