Sheraton Cavalier Saskatoon Hotel (Saskatoon, Canada)

Just in case a swimming pool wasn’t enough to make you book this hotel, it actually has its own waterpark. This consists of two pools, hot tubs and a large water slide. There is also a seating area attached to it where non-swimming guests can enjoy a drink and watch all of the action. If all of this wasn’t enough there is the additional bonus of a Starbucks in the lobby area.

Whether you are travelling for business or for pleasure this location is unbeatable. Some rooms have views over the river and this is the perfect spot to stroll on an evening. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants all within a short walk away.

The staff at the hotel are exceptionally good at their jobs. The service is professional, efficient and courteous whilst also being warm and friendly.

The Club Lounge here is very small so when the hotel is at full capacity you may struggle to find somewhere to sit in it.

The soundproofing at the hotel could be improved as noise does travel from the hallways and from other guestrooms. The hotel could do more to help this, perhaps by ensuring the doors do not bang shut and by making it very clear that the corridors are a quiet zone.

There have been various reports of minor maintenance issues and this seems to show a lack of attention to detail on the hotel’s part. Complaints include air-conditioning not working, a musty smell and damage to fixtures and fittings.
