The courtyard is well manicured. The communal area and the rooms are nicely decorated. There is a pool and small lawn tables, reclining chairs are around for easy relaxation. There is shrubbery placed between the pool and the street for quiet and privacy.

This hotel is made for small budgets. It's great if you want the opportunity to stay in a ritzy town and not pay the upscale prices. You get free parking, a breakfast, and a pretty decent room to go along with it.

The place is quite clean and the staff is courteous and will assist you without a problem. If you want to stake a stroll to downtown Aspen, it's easy. If you are looking for value on a budget in Aspen, the accommodations at this hotel are the answer. It's close enough to the main area and you can walk everywhere, but you still have peace and quiet at the facility.

The continental breakfast served by the hotel needs an upgrade. You get pop-up waffles, toast is made from white bread, wet cheese, hard boiled eggs, boring cereals and fruit trays that look messy. Yogurt is not kept an adequate temperature either. The counter top for the breakfast is not sufficiently organized.

Who puts carpet in the bathroom? It seems so unhygienic and a big no-no. It doesn't work under any circumstances. The damp carpet holds bacteria, mold, and all those yucky things.

The mattresses are not too comfortable. They seem a bit old and too soft. However, this may differ with each person and others may find them just right.
