Port of the Islands boasts beautiful grounds and a peaceful location. Guests say it's perfect for exploring the Everglades. The hotel is situated on the Port of the Islands Marina, making excursions and boat rentals easy.

Make sure to stop by Angler's Cove. Guests loved the food, the drinks and the attentive, friendly service. The bar has a relaxed but fun atmosphere, and the live music helps complete the mood. Guests especially loved the fresh fish and seafood, as well as the large portions. Furthermore, the complimentary breakfast does not disappoint either.

Guests loved the accommodations and onsite amenities. The kitchenettes in the rooms are convenient and the pool area is large, clean and features comfortable sun loungers. Guests recommend getting a private cottage for a more intimate experience, private entrance, and a fully-equipped kitchen.

The location of the hotel is a big secluded from downtown Naples and Everglades City, approximately 16 miles away. This area is perfect for a peaceful getaway but some guests found it inconvenient that there was lack of evening entertainment in the vicinity. In addition, most restaurants here close quite early.

Though guests were overall pleased with their accommodations, some thought renovations are necessary. The property is clean but the decor is outdated. Cosmetic touch ups would also really refresh the look.

Some guests thought the A/C was quite noisy. If you're a light sleeper and plan on dozing off with the air conditioner on, a pair of earplugs is recommended as a precaution.
