Stay in the heart of Lyon...
Guests rave about the hotel's "perfect" location within walking distance of just about everything Lyon has to offer, including the Old Town with its traboules, bouchons, museums, and shops, including a popular open air market along the river. Though many enjoy exploring the city on foot, the location is also well served by tram, metro, and bus.
positive:
A chic home away from home...
The apartments are widely described as spacious, tastefully decorated, and comfortable, with everything you might need to cook for yourself in the kitchenettes. Though the hotel generally earns a high rating for its "value for money," the Deluxe Rooms seem to be worth the premium rate for their position on the quieter side of the building, as well as the air conditioning.
positive:
Top marks for the staff...
Guests give the hotel's reception staff high marks for their hospitality skills, often describing the team as friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in the well-being of their guests.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A hot, noisy night...
Some of the apartments do not feature air conditioning, and can be very uncomfortably warm in summer. Guests in these rooms toward the front of the building also find opening the windows lets in far too much noise (and cigarette smoke) from the bars on the doorstep.
negative:
DIY Housekeeping...
Though weekly cleaning is complimentary, daily cleaning is upon request and costs extra, in keeping with the serviced apartment concept. Some guests strongly dislike this policy.
negative:
Car troubles...
Drivers warn that the hotel is in a largely pedestrian-only zone, and the parking garage is both expensive and a bit tricky to find. Parking on a street nearby for the purposes of checking in can also be a challenge.
