Del Ray boasts an ideal location for a beach holiday, according to most guests. The resort is a short stroll, just across the street from the beach. There, you can find many activities including diving, snorkelling and fishing, as well as watersports rentals. In addition, there are several restaurants and bars nearby, and a supermarket for convenience. When you're ready to go into the city, there is a bus nearby that will take you straight to downtown Ibiza.

Most guests liked the food at the onsite restaurant at Del Ray. There is plenty of delicious food and flavourful cocktails to go around. Guests say the restaurant has quite a varied menu and features many popular international items but with influence of Spanish flavour.

The rooms are said to be basic but clean. Guests said the accommodations had everything necessary for a beach holiday, and especially loved having a spacious private balcony. In addition, guests highly complimented the outdoor infinity pool, which boasts fantastic views, and is reported to never be overcrowded.

While most guests were pleased with the available accommodations, some thought that the rooms appeared dated and could use an update on the décor. The first impression guests often get is that the rooms are too dark and old fashioned, and is very noticeable especially on cloudy days.

If you have trouble with stairs or are carrying lots of heavy luggage, be aware that there are lots of steps throughout the property, and you'll need to use the to get to your room and to the pool as well.

The reception is open limited hours, but guests also say that even when the front desk is open, it is not always manned.
