Positive Reviews
positive:
Unique style inside and out.
The Seeko’o has become a landmark in Bordeaux and its style will likely be different from any hotel you’ve ever seen or had a chance to stay. High ceilings, leather accents on furniture, plush carpets and floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views in some bedrooms are quirks to enjoy and marvel at.
positive:
Easy location to move around in and from.
The closest tram stop is about a two minute walk away, there are bicycle hire shops across the road from the hotel, and a simple stroll along the river takes you to some great restaurants and cafés. Hotel Seeko’o is certainly not a place where not having a car will make it difficult to explore the sights.
positive:
Very generous on space.
The bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms and the bathtubs themselves are much larger and more generous than perhaps the majority of European hotels, certainly those in France!
Negative Reviews
negative:
Parking is limited and charged extra.
Although the hotel has the advantage of secure, monitored parking on site, spaces are limited and it is therefore essential that you make a reservation if you plan on using this facility. The use of a parking spot is charged per day.
negative:
No on-site restaurant.
The Seeko’o Design Bar is certainly worth a visit or two, however there is nowhere to have a meal apart from the breakfast and items on the room service menu which get delivered to your room. There are however a number of good restaurants right outside the property.
negative:
Location can get noisy.
The hotel is located in a recently developed area which has made it more interesting and desirable for many to spend leisure time in. This includes patrons of the nearby restaurants and bars which may cause some sound ingress from time to time- depending on the season and day of the week.
