Royal Square Hotel & Suites (Riga, Latvia)

This hotel boasts an ideal location, right in the heart of the city, right in Old Town's Market Square. Situated on the main pedestrian street of the city, the hotel is just steps away from the city's popular shopping and dining venues. You'll be close to many local bars and nightlife hotspots. Guests say it's very easy to get to most major sights from here on foot, so you won't need a car.

Don't skip the complimentary breakfast. The buffet boasts a large and varied selection of many tasty foods. Keep in mind though, that it can get busy at times. Guests also highly recommend the onsite restaurant, which has been considered a fantastic dining venue for a while.

Guests were very impressed with the rooms, which are beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. The hotel has been updated, and the rooms now feature many modern necessities that guests felt made their stay very comfortable. Overall, the hotel has a very nice atmosphere and very pleasant décor.

The Wi-Fi is not the best throughout the hotel. Guests often report having a very unstable connexion.

Although the hotel is in good condition, it seems that minor maintenance issues seem to pop up quite often here and there. Fortunately, the staff is often quick to resolve them.

Some of the rooms, especially those at the front of the hotel, may face soundproofing issues. There are lots of bars and nightclubs nearby and they can be a noisy nuisance on some days.
