Roselawn is in a nice quiet part of the countryside just outside of bustling Reading, so if you're looking for a place to escape the traffic and crowds this is the place for you. You're also close to the M4 motorway when you want to move on.

The people working here are really hospitable, welcoming you in and making you feel at home when you arrive. They are also very approachable and happy to talk with you about things to do in the area.

This place provides a great balance of comfort and affordability. The rooms are all presentable and spotless, a simple place to relax, plus the room rates are kept very reasonable.

The walls are thin throughout this hotel so noise really does travel. Whether it's the sound of your neighbour snoring or the creaking of the water pipes under the floor boards, you're sure to hear something during the night. Pack earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Staying connected to the internet here is a bit of an issue. The free Wi-Fi works best in the foyer area but the signal fails to reach all of the rooms. If you need to use the internet urgently then it's best to sit in the foyer.

Roselawn is beginning to look a bit dated and tired. The decor is getting old and this place has certainly seen better days. Some renovation and redecoration would go a long way.
