Negative Reviews
negative:
May not be deserving of their “4 star” claims.
Several guests found the accommodations nice, but took issue with the hotel claiming to be, and pricing itself, as 4 star accommodations. They said that they’ve stayed in 4 star hotels, and found this place to be more on par with 3 star hotels or with guesthouses.
negative:
The managers are rude.
Though many guests enjoyed their stay at Rose In Vale Country House, those that had negative feedback routinely cited the attitude of the management as the biggest drawback. They described them as being generally in hospitable, and employing bullying techniques with guests who disagreed with them.
negative:
Watch out for extra fees.
Some guests were bothered by the overwhelming number of surcharges the hotel has. There’s an extra fee for room service, late check-outs, and posting items that have been left behind. There’s an extra service charge for events. A few expressed that the fees were unusually high.
