The hotel is located close to the motorway and is only a short drive away from the centre of Dublin as well as the airport. Many guests appreciated the quiet rural setting as the hotel is surrounded by extensive grounds including a lake and a golf course. If you are looking for a peaceful location and easy access to the city then you certainly won’t be disappointed.

From the spa therapists through to the reception staff, all of the hotel employees have been complimented for their friendly and helpful manner. Guests said that they received useful information about the hotel’s facilities as well as the local tourist attractions.

The hotel offers an extensive range of leisure facilities including a championship golf course and a fully-equipped spa. Guests enjoyed practicing their golfing skills as well as using the indoor pool and the Jacuzzi. Many were also very complimentary about the body treatments such as facials and massages which were described as pleasurable and relaxing.

Guests were critical of the haphazard service at breakfast most notably items of food running out and not being replenished in due time. Many objected having to wait longer than expected for cooked dishes to be made available as well as some buffet items not being replenished at all.

The hotel is a popular venue for parties and wedding receptions which meant that some guests whose rooms were located close to the function suite experienced noise disturbances which often lasted until the early hours.

Those who wanted to order snacks or drinks at the bar were disappointed to find that they had to wait rather a long time to receive their order.
