Rocklea International Motel (Brisbane, Australia)

This hotel is just off the highway, and it's not too far from the train station so no matter how you arrive, the place is easy to find. It's very convenient for the city and a good deal because you avoid the high prices of city centre hotels.

The staff and management have excellent customer service skills at this hotel. Guests that have had problems found that the management bent over backwards to try and assist them sorting all out with a minimum of fuss.

The restaurant in this hotel is only open for lunch, and dinner and guests wish that it was open for lunch too. They say that the food is delicious and the staff extremely pleasant. The prices are pretty good too considering that you get good sized portions.

The rooms while not tiny aren't very big either. You can't help but feel a little cramped in there, and it's not ideal for the business traveller who might be doing some work at the desk. If you have a lot of luggage, you might not have anywhere to put it.

You had better hope that the other guests don't like to watch late night movies as the walls are very thin at this hotel. Guests have said that not only could they hear others talking but they could even hear the snoring as well.
