A long established, traditional Metro Hotel very close to Oxford city centre, with a garden leading down to the banks of the River Thames. Staff take pride in personal and friendly service. Located an easy walk to the centre of Oxford, ideal for tourist, business and travel needs. Less than two minutes from Oxford main station. The River Hotel is within easy walking distance to the newly opened Westgate Shopping in the centre of Oxford and with car parking on site you can leave your car with us and walk to the shops. The Said Business School is 100 metres from the hotel, while the King's Conference Centre is a short walk away along the River Thames towpath. The hotel has 20 rooms, with single beds, double rooms, or family rooms with a double and single bed. Rooms have en-suite bathroom with overhead shower. Table service breakfast with freshly cooked items to order and a buffet in our river restaurant overlooking our garden and the River Thames. Reception is staffed all day with knowledgeable local staff. Car park on site for residents only. Free secure left-luggage room.
