Resort The Wigwam (Litchfield Park, USA)

Guests were entranced by the beauty of this resort. They found the adobe-style buildings charming, and loved the landscaping throughout the resort- with its many rosebushes, palm trees, and flowering cacti. The inside of the rooms are equally attractive, with modern linens and tasteful art adorning the walls.

There are no shortage of things to do at this resort. Kids and adults alike enjoyed the four swimming pools, especially the waterslides. Sports and fitness enthusiasts loved the tennis and bocce ball courts, fitness center, and golf courses. Guests who preferred to relax on their vacation appreciated the spa as well as the many lounge areas.

By all accounts the employees at The Wigwam are highly professional. Guests reported that they were always greeted warmly, and that no request was beyond their ability to accommodate. Based on reviews, they seem to be particularly adept at handling large groups and conferences. Those that held events said that they went off without a hitch.

A few guests complained that it was difficult to find their way around the sprawling resort, particularly after dark. Many people resolved this issue by requesting the hotel staff drive them to and from their room in a golf cart, a service they are happy to provide, but perhaps do not advertise well, as many seemed unaware of it.

Some guests took issue with the demeanor of other guests. They indicate that they were seeking a peaceful oasis, and were perturbed by others in their vicinity laughing and talking loudly or playing football.

Guest reviews routinely mentioned that some areas of the hotel were in better repair than others. The property is rather old, and it would seem that only some rooms have recently gone through renovation. Guests expressed that they hoped the rest of the resort would be renovated soon.
