Resort The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman (Seven Mile Beach, Cayman Islands)

Guests who stayed here raved about how relaxing and serene the property was. Guests loved the views from their rooms, the private beach and the expansive pools which were all perfectly maintained, clean and tidy.

Most people who visited the hotel left very complimentary comments about the food served at the on-site restaurant. Guests said that dining here was a truly gourmet experience with made to order delicacies not to be missed.

A number of reviews were parents travelling with their young children or people who were part of a larger family group attending a function at the hotel These groups rated that hotel very well saying that there was plenty to keep all in their party occupied, with the beach being the highlight.

Guests who like to relax and take it easy on holiday were disappointed that they could not get a lounge chair on the beach. It seems that there is an unspoken reservation policy amongst guests who get to the beach very early and snag all the best chairs regardless of whether they intend to use them immediately.

Guests with an eye for detail picked up on a number of maintenance issues that needed attention, including toilets that were running, faulty air conditioning units,  out of order stoves and broken fixtures.

Guests who were delayed checking in to the hotel said that for the price paid for the room that the would have expected better service and a better system so that had a smooth experience.
