Resort The Inn at Middleton Place (Charleston, USA)

The inn is surrounded by acres of private gardens which provide a very picturesque and tranquil backdrop. Guests enjoyed spending time on their balconies and patios whilst admiring the scenic views as well as the peaceful and quiet ambience surrounding the hotel.

The rooms have been described as comfortable and cozy with wooden floors and open fire places. Guests were pleased to find that the size of the rooms exceeded their expectations and also complimented the equally roomy and well-presented bathrooms.

Guests who dined at the on-site restaurant complimented the quality of the food and appreciated the fact that many of the ingredients are locally sourced. The breakfasts were also highly praised by the guests who said that there was plenty of choice on offer including both hot and cold items. If you like to start your day with a hearty breakfast then you certainly won't be disappointed.

Some of the guests mentioned that they could hear conversations and televisions from the adjoining rooms due to the thin walls. Noise from the hallways also disturbed guests in the evenings and prevented them from getting a good night's sleep.

The rooms were not entirely clean according to some of the guests who noticed dust on the surfaces and debris on the carpets. Some also mentioned that their supplies and toiletries were not replenished by housekeeping.

All of the rooms have open fire places and some guests said that upon entering their suites they could smell smoke from the fire used by previous occupants. Although guests ventilated their rooms by opening their windows, many said that the smell continued to linger.
