Amazing views and proximity to the mountains
You start and end each day wonderfully, with great views of the scenery, including the mountains that many travel to this region for. Christie Lodge is a treasured destination because of its own appeal, and its fantastic practicality as a base for activities and exploring the local town.

Negative Reviews
negative:
You have to ask for fire logs
If you're excited about using the fireplace in your room, keep in mind that logs need to be requested. Several guests have complained about not using the amenity, since they didn't realize that they had to ask for firewood.
negative:
Thin walls and amenities may affect sleep
Have ear plugs handy, as the floors and walls are thin, and noise easily echoes through. Some of the rooms are also next to where the ping pong tables are, so that noise may disturb quiet time and sleep.
negative:
Some rooms do not stay cool during high temps
Despite air conditioning, some rooms receive so much sunlight and natural heat that sufficiently cooling off is still difficult. Double check the forecast and your room's location, and bring a travel fan for extra reinforcement.
