About Raithwaite Sandsend

Raithwaite Estate is an eclectic portfolio of different accommodation types, set within one hundred acres of land, just outside of Whitby. Rooms and suites are available in the main Hall building, or behind the castle facade of The Keep, some of the latter coming with a balcony or terrace. For more independence, guests can opt for one of eight self-contained stone cottages with kitchen facilities or hire out the luxury six-room Lake House. The spa incorporates four treatment rooms, a pool, hot tub, sauna and small gym. Raithwaite Estate also offers function space for 180 guests and free Wi-Fi. French cuisine with a Yorkshire twist is available in the Brasserie, whilst the Hunter’s Lounge in the Keep offers more casual dining. Guests can also enjoy afternoon tea and refreshments in the Poacher’s Bar. Whitby Golf Club is just a three-minute drive away whilst the famous Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, is six kilometres from the accommodation.
